LaserSVG is an extension to the SVG file format to make it more suitable for the exchange of templates for laser-cutting. With LaserSVG, designers can turn an existing SVG file into a self-contained, reponsive template for laser-cutting.

This allows end-users to adapt a template to new material machine parameters, such as a different material thickness or a different kerf of the laser-cutter.
